Odd, I just assumed they were remans due to the label of the box. I also didn't know Toyota still built OEM cv's for our trucks. If that's the case, $250 is an amazing deal for two brand new cv's!

Well maybe I'm just assuming they are brand new. How do I know if they're remans or not? I don't think toyota would list them as a part in there catalog and not say anything about them being remans if they are.

LCE pro clutch and 38lb flywheel went in today, piece of cake with a 2 post lift and pneumatic tranny jack, plus no suspension in the way.

That's beautiful. I'm gonna need one eventually, ever since I got my truck I have had a noticeable shimmy when the clutch is let out. I think my flywheel might be warped slightly.

    2 post lifts rock!

I hope to never be without one ever again. I highly recommend saving up for a lift. Your back and knees will love you for it. Or if your back and knees are already gone, they will still love you for it.

Could be throw out bearing also, this flywheel was heavyyyy! So much more beef than stock.

Won't know how nice it is for a while

That reminds me if anyone wants the clutch & flywheel I took out it had only about 5k miles on it, still looked new as I know how to drive lol. $50 for the whole shebang flywheel/clutch/pressure plate and throw out. Shipping on your dime.

Only under load, when accelerating. Sound like a thin metal rattle or banging. Almost makes a nosie like the heat shield on the cat is loose and rattling. But that is definitely not what it is.

The trans has had a harsh engagement problem since we got it. It also takes awhile for it to engage. Some say the filter may be blocked and its having a hard time picking up fluid. I've been thinking there may be play it the diff or something. When I had it in neutral I could rotate the drive shaft quiet a bit with the tires moving. Like the transfer case had some slop in it. Idk. I'll have to look into more.

What are the width and height specs on that winch? Sans solenoid of course. No idea which will fit in my bumpa.

    The dimensions of the X2O 10k winch dimensions are 22.3"(L) X 5.4"(W) X 9.4"(H)

That includes the solenoid I'm sure.

Info on all their winches are here:

Yeah, I just replaced my clutch a few weeks ago. On the garage floor with a basic floor jack as a make shift tranny jack and out of air for the tools, so all elbow grease. Not going to admit how long it took me to do it or how long it took my back and knees to recover from it.

I will know I have "made it" when I have a lift.

I put the dash back together. It took me half the time from taking it apart.

Oh yeah forgot to mention I also added a 3.4l instrument cluster.

It got done, thats all that matters. I know it was done right and everything is in it's proper place and properly secured.

Having messed up my back, neck, and knees a few times in the past, I had good pharmaceuticals to assist in my recovery.
