Received my gift yesterday. I have no idea who it's from, but this thing is freaking cool! Thank you soo much you are awesome, whoever you may be!

i don't even know where to begin with mine.

i got home and tore into my box.... well tried to. SOMEONE had fun with the tape when they they boxed this up . what made that even funnier was note one the envelope inside "sorry no fancy wrapping paper" i laughed pretty hard... all the packing tape over the Starbucks box was much more fun than wrapping paper!

like a typical impatient child i skipped past the card and dove inside to check out the contents - oh hell yeah!!! LED bed lights!! no exaggeration this emoji > < was me. grinning from ear to ear, totally stoked. i have no lighting in the bed yet and have wanted these for a while but they have been way down on the priority list as I've been scraping together the money for suspension. it would have been a long time before i got to buying these for myself. SCORE!

then i found the sunshade... i saw the thread on these a while back and thought they were really cool, another thing on my list (somewhere). now i can throw out my crappy Costco one and represent properly.... SCORE!

then i got to the card and realized who it was from. John, with all that is going on in your life right now, that you would take the time to look me up and send something i need and love is the most meaningful gift of all. my heart breaks for you and the missus and i am so touched by your thoughtfulness.
i wish i could do more than wish you a very special and memorable Christmas, and to let you know that we are thinking of you both.

Finally got home to check out in person the contents of my awesome SS gift!! Thanks again @dakotasyota Sooooooo awesome!! I love it all. Can't wait to weld these things up and buy my new rear shocks!!!

 

First, I apologize to the masses here. No excuse whatsoever for my antics the other night.

As some surmised, life has been rough lately. Not an excuse at all. I try to preach and practice that life is good times bad times. I'm usually good at rolling with it, but wasn't here. I will try to work on that and at the least leave it off here.

Foremost, my fervent apologies to my TWSS @dmorenoprieto . I hope you can accept my apology, but can't blame you a bit if you aren't able to and understand. Especially with all you did for me.







I'm not much for showing emotion, but honestly I was moved to tears. As some of you know, my mother is experiencing renal failure and is on dialysis. A good candidate for a transplant but the wait is a long one and I'm not a match. Getting hit with an unexpected home repair 2 weeks ago on top of it meant it wasn't gonna be much of a gift-giving holiday, which I can live with but hearing her worry the other day that it will be her last Christmas ripped my heart out.

Dude, just the fact that you thought of my mother is more than many have done..unfortunately, that includes family. That I can now do something for her that I couldn't do yesterday is just overwhelming to me, especially after my idiocy here. I really feel I'm not worthy of this, and if it's okay with you I will humbly accept it and do something for her.

That and the knife and key kick ass. I've been eyeballing this same knife but just couldn't spend the money on myself.

Yeah he is. I don't deserve this. And much appreciated..fortunately she is a very positive thinking person and a devout Catholic which gets her through a lot.

I think we all suspected there was something more going on than just a slow SS. So sorry to hear about your mom. She will be in our thoughts and prayers.
