need help!

4 weeks with my new truck and was rearended yesterday need part numbers for all rear bumper parts caps and all.thanks in advance

I noticed that also. So I won't be seeing "and ignored" no more from him because he just made my list. And Ignored.

 

Yeah... why are you ordering parts ? Neither the guy who rear ended you or you have insurance ? You do realize if he doesn't, you can use your Uninsured Motorist coverage, right ?

 

Insurance in Puerto Rico isn't the greatest of things ,I have an estimate for 23 hundred dollars and in order to get paid i must wait 10 days for the police report I would like to start ordering parts but the lousy insurance said I can't til the claim is finalized.Guess I'll keep it in the garage til it's fixed,be driving my wife's hamstermobile.

 

Well, in their defense, I've investigated liability on claims that can take up to six months or even a little longer. 95% of mine I can resolve in three days but sometimes the other party won't cooperate or you have a hard time getting witnesses to respond, police reports can take forever to arrive, etc.

So you're going to cash out on the estimate and repair yourself to save some $ ? Not a bad idea if you have the expertise.

 

just get a steel plate rear and throw everything else in the garbage. It will prob be cheaper and next time someone rear ends you then you can just continue on with your life knowing the front of their vehicle is screwed and you can touch up yours with some rattle can paint ..

edit: saw this was for a 3rd gen....not sure how many steel rears are fabbed yet...stinks

I'm trying to make sense of how this correlates to the photo above (that I posted in another thread originally). The body shop provided that photocopy and these part numbers.
