Speaking of dogs. Should I not bring my 8 week old pup? I pick him up end of February.

Not sure about all dogs but I know some puppies and dogs get carsick when wheeling. We brought our dogs to URE and my buddy's dog was fine on long drives but as soon as we hit the dirt roads, her temperament changed and she was definitely not into it. Just the ride to the campsite was bad enough with that dog. I'm normally the dog mom that brings her dog everywhere but I'm more than likely calling a favor asking a friend to watch her for the weekend. I don't want anything to worry about with this trip.

I dug my Nitrous bottle out of the shed this morning. It's a 10lb 3AL 1800. It's a big'un like Chris's. Other than some chipped NOS blue paint, it looks to be in good shape. Just hope it passes a hydro test so I can use it. If I'm reading the numbers right, it hasn't been hydro'd since '82. if it passes, it should last a stupidly long time on one fill up. ;)

Funny thing about this...I acquired the bottle about 20 years ago. It was just sitting around in the equipment room of a aircraft hanger where I was working part time. I asked about it and nobody knew anything about it so I asked if I could have it. They said take it. It's been collecting dust in my shed for two decades and now I finally have a use for it.

As long as my truck can get to the campsite and park, I'll be a happy girl.
