    Crutch field may not be the cheapest, but for service and tech after sale, and having most everything to make shit fit with out having to search it out yourself, they're hard to beat.

    Oh man this is now overwhelming than I thought. So I typed in my vehicle and it shows me everything that fits or modified fit. Do i need to have matching speakers front and rear? Ie if i buy kickers for the front I need to buy kickers for the rear? They had a Rockford Fosgate for the front for 69 and no Rockford for the rear is why I ask. And then for the kickers it says would sound good with an external amplifier. Do I need one of those? :goingcrazy:

    what head unit ? how many watts is it pushing ?

    adding and amp will mean it needs to live SOMEWHERE inside and have power to feed it. do you have the room? can you afford to loose the room ? does that location have reasonably decent air flow ? ( amps can get HOT )

    matching speakers to existing wattage would be your best cheapest bet, if you start pushing power, you'll need to upgrade the wiring to the speakers, depending on how much power, you may need to upgrade the alternator, it gets to be quite a rabbit hole.

    what is your desired end result ?

    I don't always crank my music up but when I do is usually Eminem.

    On the rare occasions when I crank it I want it to sound decent when turned up. I don't want it to turn into an expensive system but I don't wanna buy walmart speakers and expect great sound.

    Did any of that make sense?
