I hardly ever drive it during the week. Even on weekends it's just a quick ride to 7-11 or the supermarket. Truck is 100% toy now.
Besides - still missing two front driveshaft bolts, a new cross member, and skids. Need to wrap all that up before I can actually off-road it. :(

    evening boys!!!

We have an electronic recycling day the first saturday of the month, where we can take anything with a cord or re-chargeable battery. The other centers won't take the electronic stuff.

I have a 32" 11 or 12 yo tv on my mantle (it's a big triangle one in the corner) that is too heavy for me to get down. Just pushed it to the back and put the flat screen in front of it :D

:pccoffee:  Morning 60s/wannabes/Susan. We went out to dinner last with a gift certificate we found when my parents were moving out of their house this past summer. It was 5 years old! We called the restaurant, the very nice proprietor said "no problemo", so we went and had a nice meal at approximately half price.

We ambled around looking at Christmas decorations for a while after dinner. I remember doing that when I was a kid. Nowadays of course people go much bigger than they did back then. We saw some of those laser projection thingies - my wife would say "there's another house with measles"!

    Morning all:
    Enjoy Ken, Merry Christmas.

Flintlock opens the day after Christmas; :rain:Fri, :rain:Sat, :rain:Sun,:rain:Mon,:rain:Tues, :annoyed::( .
Worst possible weather for a flintlock, plus the river will be up, so fishing for walleyes is also on hold. :annoyed:
    One of them years! :pout:

Just got done cleaning the whole kitchen, early tomorrow I just need to scrub the floor, then I will make the Plumb Pudding!
I also make them for a couple of friends, and with 2 cats in the house I try to get things as clean as possible before I prepare food for someone else.

The 60 + forum has quickly become my favorite part of TW because of the nice people here with a great sense of humor. We often poke fun at ourselves instead of taking everything so serious.

Why did it take so long for us to learn this?

Anyone that can make cookies can make plum pudding! :D
Actually there are quite a few different variations of it, the one I use is handwritten and been made for at least 4 generations.

Two of my favorites are banana pudding and bread pudding with lemon/rum sauce.

Making myself hungry just thinking about it.

    Morning all:
I don't think I ever eaten banana pudding but have eaten bread pudding on more than one occasion.

As for liver Sue: I like calves liver and deer liver, but don't like regular liver or chicken liver at all. :notsure:
But those beef tongues are delicious! :D

Happy Holidays sixtys/wannabes/Susan! All this food talk catches me just as we're planning our shopping list. We're going to try a crown roast of pork this year. Never did one before so lots of fingers, toes, arms, legs, etc. are crossed.

Plum pudding? Sounds plumb delicious!

 It's not what it sounds like, there are no plumbs in it and it might be considered a type of cake.
There are other names for it also, such as Christmas Pudding, or suet pudding.
