Big, HUGE Thanks to @3378jakesr5 for helping me tear apart my entire interior and installing sound deadening to help quiet down the cab. The product is from Shok Industries and isn't have the cost of dynamat. Big thanks to @manethon for the group buy as well. Awesome product to work with and it went pretty darn smooth. 8hrs later we had the roof done, back wall and some floor, and a double layer on every door. Really quieted down the interior, made the JBL sound system that much better, kept the outside noises outside.

Lots of fun was had. And I'm still way to excited about how well that helped the roof with keeping it quiet. Day and night between the two.

To tired to re type out so I just copied and pasted :p

    Hey @manethon,

@CoTacoTRD and I got his truck done today! I'll post some of the pictures I took today and we used up 2 packs perfectly doing 5 in the felling and 5 on the back and the other ten in the doors. The doors were done inside all over and then the panel all over and it came out awesome. It is amazing how well the deadener help the ceiling it was a HUGE improvement over the ping piny sound that it had befor. Very solid. Can't wait to do mine!! Thanks again.

    Before after.

All the way down to the cubbys

Inside one of the doors. Out side.

I am surprised at how much it helps and now I am thinking of getting another pack to do the front floor area. You can still hear the tires and motors coming from that area only.

Tear out. Because we had to figure out how some of it came apart first. Only casualties were one sun visor clip and 2 door clips. But I was able to fix them with some Liquid Nails. :D

It cancels out the noise that much? I'll have to look into this. Road noise seems to be all I hear these days. I've been watching other do the same project lately and the more I see it the more interested I become.
I may have to do it in small pieces (door by door) when the time comes.

It does Scott. I was happily surprised as it surpassed my expectations. Can you hear the outside still, yes but now I am on par or better with a 4 runner or Lexus SUV that are already nice and quiet. I guess the 3rd Gen tacos now have more sound deadening in them. Only took 3 gens to get it right. :)

I'm gonna buy another 2 packs so @3378jakesr5 and @CoTacoTRD can help me do my roof and floor. That's good to hear that doing the roof makes such a big difference
