Bypass is a whole other beast and they are amazing. You can do more fine tuning to the ride quality of the suspension with bypass. Bypass are usually $400 more per shock. The ICON 2.5 remote resi double bypass run $848 per shock and a double bypass would be more than sufficient. More required when you get in to triple and quad bypass. The ICON double bypass will mount in the stock location since with their design you can rotate the tubes to clear the tire and best of all they require no tools to adjust compression and rebound. If you can afford them, I recommend you go for it. I know I eventually will be running bypass front and rear on an MT setup.

I knew what they did, just looking for opinions which makes it tough. Some people are satisfied with no bypasses, and some like them even more. My truck is 95% a pavement truck, but when it hits dirt i dont treat it very nicely either.

Well that's the beauty of the ICON bypass, you can tune them for the street and then adjust them when you hit the dirt. Would be some trial and error, but once you have the numbers that work you can switch them back and forth in a few seconds.

I dont mind a harsh ride on the street. Just hard to say ill notice the difference in having bypasses at all since ive never ridden in a built truck anyways and have the comparison. Ya know? I guess its only $400 difference for triples in the rear which isnt crazy expensive either.

I regret not doing bypasses. Though I also regret not doing 3.0's... I'm spring under though...

There is a noticable difference. My previous builds had bypass and all I can say is they take something good and make it great.

    Photo DUMP.

First, this is my rear up-travel. Sitting level on jack stands under the axle. Just about 2.5 inches before i get into the bumps. @dakotasyota

This is how i've got my front strapped @zscott you can see i've got about an 8th inch between misalignment and cage of upper arm.

Clearance, 3 degrees caster. No CMC or other cutting than i did for 285's. This is just to get me through the winter, come spring i'll be cycling and cutting to clear at stuff.

Wow they look awesome and bigger! Expecting any rub issues? I'm actually considering BFG A/Ts again when my MTRs wear down or possibly sell them.

Absolutely zero rubbing at 3 deg castor for normal driving. Once I get offroad and stuff a front tire it's gonna rub. I'll worry about trimming for that in the spring.

Definitely wider. Taller a bit, but only about a third of an inch..

That doesn't sound promising. Hopefully your opinions are good.
