    Soooo went to get one this morning. They are discontinued.. The advanced Gold AGM or whatever it is had replaced it. $170.. 3 year free replacement. Gel based. He's better specs than the platinum I guess. Need to read up on it more.. Grabbed it this morning and hit the road immediately after.

    I've got the O'Reilly super start and always get the warranty. They usually die on me before the warranty expires but the O'reilly I go to always just gives me a new one for free and lets me renew the warranty for $20 every two years or so. I havent bought a new battery in the last 4 years, just ask @JuansTaco

    But if I was going to spend money it would be the diehard platinum like everyone else said.

    Yeah that was the plan. Get the platinum and have a 4 year warranty. But... Yeah. Platinum is no more. This Die Hard Gold seems pretty legit.
