I have been driving Toyotas for years, mainly tundras, for the first time in years im driving something other,I purchased a 2016 tacoma 4 days ago,big mistake,SO UNCOMFORTABLE ! I took it back to the dealership in spfld IL,2 days later ,120 miles, hoping to trade on a new tundra, they had nothing in stock, long story short, for $4500 I could get my platinum tundra back,I thought tacomas held there value, now the good,I got a platinum F150 what a truck they did me a favor ! lost thousands, but thats ok if this truck is dependable like the tundra,im a ford guy from here on out ! The new tacoma sucks !!!!! F150 so comfortable

The dealer will always rape you, there's no way you could take it back and get what you paid for it sadly, that's just the way it is, private sales maybe you could get close to it

Who the hell buys a $40k truck without knowing it doesn't have your seating amenities and not knowing it's comfortable or not? What a sucker.

Bummer. I once bought a hooker that was very uncomfortable after 5 hours. Life goes on.

Thanks for relating to my hooker with your truck.

    Life goes on.

    What a waste of bandwidth.

The only redeeming value in this thread is that the electrons can be recycled.

To the OP. Please learn how to troll properly. More realistic bait is required.

Dog friendly, with dog snot on inside windows, with of course a/c! Mag 16 inch wheels from a Mazda.
It's funny you get inside to try it, and get all happy. The manufacturer makes a wide variety of different models, and really never give it a second thought of certain problem for that particular model! Then you drive it awhile and go what the F___k! That happened with my Subaru Crosstrek 13, they put no soundproofing in it. I was so pissed, the salesman called me a year after I purchased it. I told him, whoever came up with the idea of leaving soundproofing out should be shot! Anyway as far as him wanting a more comfortable seat. I'm surprised he didn't go to upholstery shop to see if they could make the seat more comfortable.

So OP, which Ford dealer are you a salesman with?

What I do find is really big or really fat guys don't like smaller pickups, not really a huge mystery there. My biggest complaint interior wise is that with the older [pre 16] Tacos, the tilt wheel is on a par with the 1960s big three models. OTOH, my 2014 FJC's tilt wheel is much MUCH better. Still can't figure that out unless Toyota engineers are really dumb and couldn't make the FJC wheel work with the pre 16 Tacomas. [Same for the FJC 4.0 engine]
