At 15K Miles and...

I still think I made a good decision in getting the Tacoma.
Yeah, it's just an Access Cab truck but to me, it is the best truck I've ever had.
I did add the Fog lights, cruise control and intermittent wipers.
I may add an audio amp and speakers to the rear access area.


Thanks for your help with my decision and the mods that I installed.

that's cool. I have a '15 with 12K on it and it's getting better and better. I can feel it getting smoother as it breaks in. Mine is just a 4 cyl manual, but I really appreciate the simplicity of it. I think I'll really like this truck for a long time.

 

I just hit 23k on my 14' and it just keeps getting better

 

I just hit 14k miles on my '15. Gonna write the payoff check next week and keep this one for a while.

 

I hate these damn trucks so much that..............I've owned 3.

base camp tacoma here, 2015 4x4 2.7 5spd access cab.8000 plus mi., loving it, added fogs,wiper mod. like the mpgs.20plus, no problems.

 

You're good. I've heard of people getting 10-15k miles on them before any real troubles.

my 02 ,just sold it. 200000.mi. bought the 15, hope it gives me the same trouble free fun.

i almost missed the 2nd gen.lol. maybe last of the 3rd gen.

 

This. Same truck, same miles, same thoughts. Can't overstate how great it is to own a dead simple vehicle again. Most difficulty I've had so far is telling myself I don't need a lift and tires on a brand new truck.

 

My 2015 has 15.5k on it. Just switched to Mobil 1 full synthetic. My only complaint is it looks so nice cleaned and waxed that I keep washing it. My wife says that I'll wear the paint off before the engine wears out. I hope she's right! Gotta get some seat covers, drivers side is showing some wear

 

I think they look like sh!t waxed up.

 

i think i see some dirt on the frame,lol. i'm the same way.
