Built and installed a rear storage compartment. Best part is I have one big level floor now. The covering has a flap that overlaps the stock storage hatch, I can just flip that cover back to access the hatch. The center area got a cover that is hinged off my storage box that will swing up and give access to the center storage area that is between the two stock hatch covers.

Is that the lights from the Toyota that the dealers sell? How hard was the install?

Yes...but only dealers that are part of Southeast Toyota Distributors. In my case I went with North Miami Lexus. They're here on TW somewhere. What's easy for some may be difficult for others. I found it very straight forward...but I do have lots of electrical experience. I modified the install some though. The instructions have you hooking into the system as to have the lights come on with either the interior dome and/or an open door...no switch. I wired it up to be completely independent and can be turned on from the cab at any time. The switch I used was an older OEM rocker switch I already had.

I printed the templates from here ---> http://www.trdsparks.com/displayparts.php?Mdl_dtl=1002&Part_cat=24&parts_id=5139

Make sure you select "actual size" for your printer options.

Thanks man, I'm a electrician by trade so I'm not too worried about the electrical stuff just more worried about opening up interior panels.

Just a couple of interior panels....the lower kick panel by your left foot and the scuff plate across the bottom of the jamb.....oh and the dead-pedal. They're held on by clips. Super easy to remove and reinstall. The mounting of the lights using the templates was a piece-a-cake....10 minutes tops. But I'm very anal when it comes to electrical work. I probably spent 2-3 hours routing and securing the harnesses and wiring to make it look 100% OEM.

Finished up my switch panel and got it installed. Used a blank to poke out my aftermarket mic.

Took the kids to Mass today. The city hasn't been plowing very well...

Can't tell where the sidewalk ends. Had to drive over snow piles to park in the parking lane.

That's a clean setup. I'm assuming your plugging into another harness running to the battery or fuse box.
