    Thanks everybody!

Yep, as close as I am to that place I haven't been out in 7-8 years when it was an atv/motocross park. Looking forward to checking it out sometime though.

Not getting enough air into the new side of the house. The holes in the foundation and duct work are not big enough for the volume, so its all backing up into the old side and basement.

Don't know how many cfms your trying to move but if your having problems with heat you'll never move cold air. Was the furnace replaced and sized for the new addition? What's the square footage and how many rooms?

You don't have to answer any of the question just trying to help.

Original furnace/AC was a 2 ton system, 2000sqft house, about 900 of that in the addition. Heat and cool were acceptable in the old part, not great in the new part.

Just upgraded to a 3.5 ton system, 90% furnace, high efficiency blower. Output in the old section is now great, if anything velocity out of the vents is too high. The new section hasn't changed at all.

There are two 9x16 ducts coming off the blower, and the new part is fed by a pair of 9x8 ducts. However there is a 90 degree bend there, and once through the foundation there is a series of 8" round pipes.

There's lots of pressure on the basement side, and you can hear the airflow through the foundation, however there is very little pressure on that side.

It looks to me like the mess of ducts getting into the new part of the house is preventing flow, and its just stalling in the ducts.

    Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks Joe. Too bad I bought my LR UCAs before I saw yours. But then again, they are still new in box as I am waiting for new COs before installing them......

Was going to go with OME, then thinking Icon with CDC, now maybe Billies.....trying to be realistic. I drive 25k a year on road, so Icons or Foxs are a tad expensive to rebuild yearly or so. Any suggestions? Decided to go with ball joint UCAs instead of uniballs because I heard they do not like our salty winter roads.

90 will deff create more friction and noise, sounds like system would need to be balanced since air will move in path of least resistance like anything else so if old part has less resistance it will more more air there, is there dampners on those 9x8 ducts going to old part of house? What speed is blowet set to if its multispeed one.

I oversized my ductwork by accident and its very quiet

Alright..... A couple weeks ago, I was at Mussers in Lancaster (Rte 30 / Prospect RD) at night and I spotted a blue 2016 Tacoma in the back of the parking lot as I was leaving. I did a 'double take' but kept driving.

Today...I'm at Walmart (off Fruitville pike) and saw another blue 2016 - probably the same one. I parked next to it. I left Walmart and the truck was still there. I snagged a photo (I couldn't help myself) LOL.

Damnit, I really hate the fact that Toyota is very limited in packages. Grrrrrrrr.....

There are old dampers in the 9x16 ducts, but no longer connected to controler, so just locked open.

The blower control is automatic between low and high speed.

The problem is definitely one of balancing the air flow, and reducing the resistance.

You can mess around with dampers or get somebody to ballance the system since it wasnt designed for addition. Thats my take on it
