$1000 in labor is high for what you have listed above. I would estimate that at about 4.5 hours and $100 to mount/balance and swap sensors. Find another shop

$240 to install some tpms is absurd. Discount installed mine for $80 total and that included mount/balance.

Is your rubbing only on the front side of the the fender well? I notice mine is very close on the back side as well, im not sure exactly where it is rubbing for sure. Any trick as to how I can pin point the spot?

Man that's nice, you upgrade your UCA's or leave on the stock ones?

That's way too much. I had my 275/70/17 ko2's installed on my trd rims (balanced and transferred the tpms from my stock rims) for $120. Labor for the ome kit install (front and rear shocks with aal's) cost me $350 total.

I work in LA but I bought my tires from costco. Got them mounted, balanced and transferred my tpms sensors at the Glendora location. Bought my lift kit online and had Deluxe Auto Sport in victorville install it for me.

Cool, thanks. I'm thinking that's a better way to go.

Anyone running a 2-3 inch lift with 265/75R16 tires?

    Pics ?

Seems like 285/70R17 is the popular choice here for trucks with lifts.

I know you are most likely looking for 3rd gens but there is a 2nd gen thread for trucks with 3-inch lifts and 265's. I think they look great! I almost like it better with 265's opposed to 285's. It looks more overlandish like it can actually offroad and articulate with 265's. I know its possible with 285's but I'm not into all the trimming and power loss. Not to mention you have a better tire selection of C rated tires in the 265/70/17 size.

My 2016 DC LB 4x4 Sport. 5100's in the front set at 1.75 is all I got so far.

Very nice! Slight bro lean? I'm planning to do the same with a 1" block and hope to achieve a small rake. How's the ride?

Hey Guys, so over the weekend I found out some interesting info. For the past few months, I have been driving my 16 with an Icon Stage 5 lift, 285/70 R17's, minus the UCA's, mainly due to not having the time to install them. Anyhow, I hadn't experienced any rubbing what so ever. Then, Saturday I finally got around to installing my Icon tubular UCA's and took the truck in for an alignment. When I got it back, truck drove straight but was rubbing the back of the fender well big time. So, I spoke to the tech and we determined that this was due to the Castor. We put the truck back on the rack, and adjusted the castor angle in the opposite direction. Still well in spec, and no more rubbing.

Anyhow, I thought this might be helpful for those who are running into some rubbing issues. My wheels have 4.45" back spacing and 0mm offset, and with the castor now set, I don't have any rubbing and the truck drives perfectly straight, while the steering wheel always returns to center after a turn as it should. So, before you go cutting anything, have your alignment shop play with the castor, moving the front wheels forward while still staying in factory spec's. Just proved today that it is totally possible and I am back to not having any rubbing.

Hopefully this is helpful to those of you running into some rubbing issues.

edit: I am working from home today, so I will get some center of hub to fender measurements today so that ya'll have further point of reference.

Yeah this is why i'd like to go to 265's
either with 17's or even 16's

I just would like to see some pictures before I sell my 285's and commit to 265's.

I definitely am going with a load C tire after these load E KO2's.

What castor angle degree you had after first alignment and what did you set it after the correction? Also what tires are you running and I asume 9" rim?
I also plan on using 9" rim with 0 offset and 285
    Thanks. Very useful information!

I'm looking to get KO'2 LT265/70R17 in a C load. 46lb per tire than the 58lb tires I have now.

I'd like to find some pictures though before I pull the trigger.
