Here is what I did. Instead of on all the time it will run through a relay. Still not done yet. I ordered a tap-a-fuse to tap in to a fuse that will power on when truck is on. I'll be installing a light bar after this to treat my set up. 20151112_091207.jpg
I'll let you know how it goes once I'm done.

Hey Someone, where did you locate you add a fuse. I just installed something similar but have yet to power the relay for ignition on.

Nice one. Where did you get your plate? I bought a metal plate from home depot and made it my self. Yours looks more solid.

No ACC fuse under the hood on mine. I will just have to run it into the cab. For now its on the A/C 10amp which requires the fan switch to be on. Not a big deal right now as I almost always have the fan on.
If I were to start fresh, I would use two 6 position fuse blocks with one always on and the other switched.

OP, well done on the bracket and mounting location. I be using this thread in the future as I incorporate more accessories!

Probably should have mentioned that acc fuse is in the cab not under the hood.

Dynatrac ProRock 60 Rear Axle, that is important enough.

This is a great how-to and I learned a lot doing this install.

Going to have to switch the Positive Cables in the future as they are currently AWG 6 and not AWG 4, I could not find any Red AWG 4 locally so had to go with the AWG 6 for the time being, once I get more stuff running, then I will switch to AWG 4 for the positive.

Does the blue sea fuse box bring a spot for the positive and negative end of the wire? I can see your two red wires going into the fuses but don't see any negative wires

The connection towards the top of the picture is the negative bus (under the yellow tab on the cover.)

Blue Sea makes fuse blocks both with and without a negative bus, depending on your needs.
