Not on this truck but I have used the blue tinted halogen bulbs in the past. My experience has been that they do work, but tend to burn out within a year. My own theory is that the blue coating causes the bulb to trap in heat and burn hotter than non-coated bulbs. Just my own opinion though. I like the LED's; very bright, the right color white, and should last for a very long time.

The bulbs is blue but turn out to be white when its on, its just like hid or led lights, but its halogen lights no need be wired or any modifies.

By the way...if you get so excited to drive it after it gets aligned that you forget to tell them to adjust the headlights, here are some pics of how I did it myself. There's an adjustment screw on the backside of the headlight assembly that requires an 8mm socket/wrench. Adjusting it clockwise lowers the headlight beam, counter-clockwise raises it. I did have to remove two bolts that mount the windshield washer reservoir to get a socket in there and adjust the passenger side (I tried using a ratcheting wrench but it was slow going and I kept dropping the wrench) I used a garage door to shine the headlights on to adjust the beams down about 4 inches but I had to go back and raise them about an inch. I then drove it this evening to make sure I wasn't getting hi-beams flashed at me. ;)

The LED bulbs don't require any modifiers either. Like I said, I've used the blue tinted ones in the past; these just last longer.

Done any research into replacing the headlights with LEDs? I have been trying to understand the right way to do it without blinding people.

Nice job spotting that man! I am a T-10 paraplegic from a desert motorcycle accident 10 years ago and spend a lot of time handcycling now. It is really all that keeps me sane. I don't know how I would cope with being in a wheelchair if I didn't have cycling. It has really shaped my life post injury. Fell free to message me man!

I do but for offroading clearance I am going to do a 1-inch block in the back. It will only be a quarter inch higher in the back after the 1-inch block. After that I am going to try and cram in a 275/70/17. Unfortunately I can't do too big of a lift but want to get as much clearance as possible since I do offroad. I need to keep in somewhat low since I am in a wheelchair and need to climb in and out of it a few time a day. If I didn't offroad I would totally leave it the way it is. with just the 5100's in front set at 1.75.
