Any ideas on a "lock" for the fifth window on a 2016 Tacoma?

There are some other threads that talk about a rod that is inserted which will prevent it from being opened.

If somebody wants in the truck I don't think a sliding window will be the xfactor

A 2016 Tacoma and you still have to use a stick to lock the rear window.

OR just snap it shut from the inside. If that isn't enough to stop a perp, they'll have no issue smashing the glass

I agree. But, my other concern was that my kids were playing with it the other day and left it open. Luckily, I checked and closed it before the rain started.

Are you concerned that a toddler will break in? That hole is small.

2nd gens have the clip, too. The rear window on 2016s is carried over from 2nd gens. The eBay security bar is the same one that mattgecko is selling, so buy it from him and save $3 on shipping. :)

You are wasting your time and money trying to lock the rear window. #1 a thief is not going to break in the rear window to gain access as it is to small.

1997 t4r has super duty axles, 5.13s locked front and rear. 3 link front with 14" kings. Rear 63s.
I'm 6'2 265lbs and it was pretty easy for me to get into my truck then get into my house because of the garage door opener.

I just bought a wood dowel, plastidipped it (or you can paint it or just leave it alone). Cut it to fit. Cost about $2
