    Personally, I hope that Rey is NOT Luke's daughter. All Jedi are connected by the force and they don't always have to be related for it to work.

    I hope the connection between them simply had to do with him being the last remaining Jedi and that the force just happens to be stronger in her than it does in Leia (which is why Leia has been able to sense things, but not really DO things).

    Harrison Ford apparently didn't really want to do the movie, in fact...I read interviews somewhere that he wanted to be killed off in Return of the Jedi because he didn't really want to be stuck in sequel after sequel. Mark Hamill looks pretty old, Disney better move him into one of the hotels to keep that dude alive for Episode VIII.

    Ford stated that killing off solo at the end of ROTJ would have been a huge mistake. Pretty sure he has also said since filming began on TFA he was excited about doing the movie

    Agreed, I think Mr. Ford is getting old and wanted off the chain. Not only that but if he died in between movies, we'd have another F&F7 on our hands. Mark Hamil looks alot better than I thought he would, he looks old in the movie, but in his red carpet pics he looks pretty fit and spry these days. Obviously he's going full Diva on us because his 15 minutes of fame have returned and he can ride this boat through 3 movies.

    I just red this morning where Ford has been begging to be killed off since Return of the Jedi because he didn't like his character and thought Solo was dumb and just a bad person. It said that he'd been begging Lucas to kill him off, but Lucas wouldn't and it said that Ford was really happy about out JJ Abrams developed Han...which many are saying he liked that they finally showed that Han had a heart and that he went out with a bang by trying to save his kid.

    Also, I think Rey is Luke's daughter for 3 reasons:

    1. R2D2 woke up when she got around
    2. The whole light saber vision said that that saber had a connection with Annikin, Luke, and Rey...that just makes too perfect of a familial line
    3. The final scene

    Oh and as much as we all wanted Carrie Fisher back, as said above, I didn't realize she'd chain smoked 5 packs a day aince RotJ, and like Yoda, got shorter with age. (Assuming Yoda was a normal size somewhere in his 900 years)

    she's the only character who is completely unrecognizable. She looks nothing like the Carrie Fisher from the original trilogy.

    Initially I was like...who the fuck is that, but then I used my context clues and was barely able to make out Princess Leia through 40 years of it all. Also, as much as we all know C3P0 is annoying at times, his 1 line about his red arm and popping in reminded me of the dumbass robots from 1-3. They turned him into a comedy act, and that ticks me off.

    Leave us NOT forget the huge holes in the plot about the Starkiller Base.
    How do they plan to fire it more then once?
    Where DID the power come from for the shot that took out 5 planets?
    How do they split the beam into 5 pieces?
    AND, even powering it up with superheated plasma from the Sun(!) would have melted the planet it was on even before they got to fire it in the first place!
    MAYBE, if it was orbiting a binary star they could fire it twice, but then it's done, unless the First Order can fly the whole thing to ANOTHER solar system!

    I get all that, I just HOPE that it's not. The whole father-son-daughter mess is a bit overdone now.

    I just hope that it's some other connection due to the force, that's all.

    That vision she had led me to believe maybe she was part of Luke's padawans and after ren went beserk they tried hiding her in jakku to protect her from ren and or turning to the dark side? Because they all looked like they knew something about her just stayed quiet. I think kylo and reigh are brother and sister. Could be wrong but loved this movie and can't wait for the next
