SOLD! Hey TacomaWorld, time for me to let go of my tonneau cover and get a camper shell or aluminum bed rack for my 2014 DCSB. This tonneau is in great shape and comes with the cargo manager. Everything works and it looks great, and no drilling is required to install it. Will fit any 2005-2015 double cab Tacoma with the short box (5' bed). Comes with 2 keys for the lock. Paid $1400 for it a couple years back, looking to get $700 OBO and will entertain trades for bed racks or camper shells--preferably Barcelona red or black in color. Let me know if you have questions, prefer local pickup in San Antonio area. Will drive within reasonable distance and will help you install if it's a deal breaker.KIMG0021.jpg KIMG0022.jpg KIMG0024.jpg KIMG0025.jpg KIMG0026.jpg KIMG0028.jpg

Its not waterproof, but it will keep stuff dryer than being left in the rain.

It's kind of a hard top...the vinyl top covers an aluminum base. It's nothing like those vinyl only tops that flop around in the wind. This thing is solid.
    Thanks for the shout out!

So below the vinyl top is there another layer to keep someone from cutting through it?

Absolutely...you're not just cutting thru this tonneau cover.

Truth. Under the vinyl is an interlocking aluminum extrusion very similar to that of a BAK roll-x. These tonneaus will support a decent amount of weight. I've been told they're safe to lay on and stargaze with the lady if you're not Hulk and She-Hulk.

It is strong, but I don't know that I'd go so far as to say I'd put 2 adults on it...it might be OK. Thanks for the endorsement!
