I am looking for door sill protectors for my Tacoma. I have seen several but not many in Canada. I asked at the dealer and they say they don't make them for a Tacoma double cab.
I find that hard to believe. If you know of a part number let me know. Also what aftermarket ones are best.
    Thanks for any help.

Cut & broke off some stuff.
I ordered some vinyl wrapping off Amazon and cut strips to stick at each doorsill. $5 for a 12x60 inch piece. That got all 4 doors on double cab with some material left still. Durability remains to be seen since I just did it 2 months ago. But, the price is right.

This, and I've been rocking them for a couple of years now with no concerns.

I like those best of all the looks he has. Probably a couple of hundred for me when you factor in the US dollar and shipping not to mention duties as well.

Are they fairly thick or just a thin cover. I rarely step on that area, just looking for protection from a winter boot scrape.

Yes the currency exchange is 40 cents on the dollar now and the shipping and duties. The government wants their cut. It will be crazy expensive.

The previous owner had rubbed the paint through, that was the reason I started looking for something to go here. The vinyl I used was not real thick (I used the "textured" carbon fiber style) and it has held up quite well. If and when it shows wear, I'll simply re apply as I got a life time supply for a couple of dollars.
