Yeah, well, my pick'em season ended up much like every other pick'em season I've entered. I go hard the first few weeks....then forget a week, then remind myself the following week, then, I fall off the map. so. there's that.

UGA RB coach (and former UGA RB) Thomas brown was expected to be retained by Kirby, and has been recruiting with him, but today it was announced he's heading to Miami with Richt.

    Shit.

I do a College Pick Em every year with my old college buddies, so I already have to make my picks so it's a little easier for me. We also factor in the spreads with our picks...I think I came in like 7th out of 15 people...much harder and much more frustrating. I like the TW one better

My boss played with Kirby at Georgia. I'm working on getting a pic and autograph after all the craziness settles down. I'll see if I can get you a signature, too. I think I told you I'd try to get you a Thomas Davis signature and a Hines Ward signed towel, too, right? I haven't had my opportunity to get those yet, but I'm working on it. One of Amy's best friends' dad was Hines' coach in high school and he even lived with him for a while, so her dad has tons of signed shit by him...I just haven't had a chance to see him yet. My boss also played with Thomas Davis, but I've never had the chance to meet him, but when the time comes, I'll try to score you a signature or something. I really wish I could've gotten a pic with Mark Richt before he left :pout:

You're a good man. I hope Hines comes back and coaches with Kirby. He mentioned a while back that he thought it would be fun. He could be a hell of a WR coach.

I foresee Saban retiring soon, and Kirby not having to compete with him, and being very successful. I would have liked to have seen Kirby take over at Bama once Saban left. Now, it looks like Bama will have to play second fiddle once that time comes. I'm not sure who would 1. want to follow Saban and 2. who COULD follow Saban and be successful.

Someone stupid and cocky. My boss was telling me last week that Kirby invited him to a practice once and Kirby asked if he wanted to meet Saban and, of course, he said yes. He shook Saban's hand and told him who he was and Saban said something like, "Boy, you don't think I know who you are? You're on MY field. I know who every soul on this field is and why they're here." My boss said Saban doesn't play lol
