    well im pretty sure its spruce, its noticeably lighter and the grain is quite a bit tighter, it cuts and sands easier than the stuff I got from lowes and there are far fewer knots. Im no expert, but I see nothing about it that tells me otherwise. which spruce is kinda sorta related to pines anyway right? (I guess all trees are related and really all plants are fona)
