Eyesmoke, it is for sale if you are interested. It's bare aluminum, fog light cut outs, full upper hoops; never mounted. I'm not home until Monday night but I can take pictures when I get back.

My neighbor is moving and left me a little gift after he was done packing up... Long story but, the short version is he ended up getting an "extra" Smittybilt SRC classsic with step (http://i1261.photobucket.com/albums/ii582/jkbleu/IMG_0818.jpg) for his Jeep and when I saw it I thought that with a little work it could make a decent rear pipe bumper. Anyone interested?

Well I hope you guys have a better start to the holidays than my wife and I... we ended up getting rear ended by a lady in a little Toyota yaris. Everyone invoked was ok, her car not so much but the truck faired very well. as seen in the pics my truck only had a couple of cuff marks. The front of her car hit my trailer hitch. so drive safe and I hope all of you have a good holiday season. Glad you and your family (and your truck) are alright, the Yaris picked the wrong vehicle to hit.

This. You might need to get your frame straightened depending on how hard and what angle the hit was but the stock bumper, when replaced at a Toyota dealer costs more than most custom bumpers especially when you factor in Toyota's markup and labor. Take it to a the First Team Toyota Dealer in Chesapeake (the one on Western Branch Blvd) to get the appraisal (and make sure your frame is straight) then ask for a check from the insurance and buy an offroad bumper.

Ya I plan on taking it over there when I get back into town but she does drive fine with no vibrations. I would love to get an off road bumper.

Mine drove fine with no vibrations up to 70mph after I slammed into a concrete barrier. Frame was over almost 2 inches. Wouldn't hurt to get it checked out, your frame is only a c-frame in the rear and the metal is pretty thin.

Now that I think about it, if you have any money left over, this is a good kit and you can relocate your shocks in the future if you want:

    http://www.amazon.com/TRAIL-GEAR-Toyota-Tacoma-Rear-Frame/dp/B00AOTK1W4

(PS, don't get it from Amazon, shipping and price is too high; there are other vendors that sell it for cheaper). You will need an experienced welder to install it...

Hey anybody have Sprint for a cellular carrier? Thinking about switching but would like to know the coverage is good compared to what I have with Verizon.

Depends on where you are. I live in p-town and tried sprint once. It sucked. But you always have the "trial" period I think it is a month to take it back and get a full refund if it sucks. I stick with Verizon because I like having service.

Verizon, have service just about anywhere. Sprint on the other hand blows unless you're in the city.
