What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

All weekend: leveled the Boss shocks on the front double checked torque settings on all nut n bolts.
Monday: [hired out]alignment, timing belt, water pump, alternator, all new belts... essentially blew all the cash i got from selling my subaru.
Replaced rear diff fluid (Lucus) i wonder if the previous owner ever even changed it, it was pretty burnt looking.
Today:drove a full city block without touching the steering wheel because the alignment is so great. Cleaned the garage so i can have a warm place to build sliders, bumpers, hang glider racks, install front trailer hitch for winch, swap the trany fluid and filter, and other winter projects.

 

Santa showed up yesterday. I may need to look into getting a black hood, or at least vinyl wrapping mine haha.

Yea I'm betting this pulls right pretty good? Both camber and toe are pretty bad on the left front. May be some worn parts, Unless of course, you've just changed parts. I'd suspect you have a bad control arm bushing somewhere. Camber and caster can affect toe drastically. IMO the worst design on these trucks is the small tabs that the eccentric bolts sit in between. It wouldn't surprise me to see that that tab has been flattened and the eccentric moved. I saw a thread on here to reinforce said tabs, which I highly recommend..other than that I'd look for worn parts, but you certainly could use an alignment.

They're a little more lenient down here in Cali.
I haven't yet been pulled over for them or my tint ::knock on wood::

The report shows both before and after. It looks like about all that was done was a toe adjustment on the left. Camber and toe on the left are still not as good as they should be.

 

That's shitty wish i knew a good alignment shop close by... only one i know cant fit my tires with 15" wheels

 

Yea I didn't see the final numbers lol..printout is a pain to read..yea looks pretty good now.. The lift explains the caster. Yours is a perfect example of being dialed in to compensate for crowning of the roads.

 

Maybe I am misreading it too but the final camber on the left still seems too high.

 

You're right. .5 is a little much. I can see the left is cranked a little higher than the right..probably because of Tacoma lean. May be close to max without uca's

Today, I got my roof Line-xed. I had to fix some reoccurring rust issues, line-x was 150 ish dollars cheaper than paint.
