Added an UltraGauge EM Plus OBDII scanner recently, and today I removed the drivers side headliner and installed the UltraGauge in the top left corner of my windshield. Im very pleased with the device so far, still learning how to get the most of it. Next step will be setting up the custom page to include Instant MPG, Avr. Mpg, MPH, and probably DTE (still undecided on what would be the best gauge for the fourth segment of the screen).

It is lines up exactly with the top edge of the windshield and is completely unnoticeable if your looking at the truck from the front. Very glad to have the cable hidden out of sight now as well.

Side note: the horizontal 3M mount that came with the UltraGauge fell off within a minute of sticking it to the windshield. I'm using a silicon-based adheasive mount that I already had (purchased from target) that coincidentally fits the UltraGauge mount as well.

Had a well prepared tool bag with enough to fix 3 sheared off studs on my 2800 mile road trip from LA to Whistler and back! So let this be advice enough to have a good tool bag/box set up.

That looks super sketchy. Did you have a jack stand to put under it after you used the high-lift to jack it up? The angle of the high-lift looks like it could kick out any second which (after the wheel is off) would leave you with a truck on the ground and a hole in your door.

...on the other hand, good for you for being prepared for the repairs!

I'd agree, and yes the jack started to slide out being in the snow and it being compacted(ICE). So I hurried and out the lug nuts one once I mixed it sliding out and readjusted the jack. In hindsight a small picket or rod would work great to keep the HiLift in place. And no I don't carry jack stands with me.

Still trying to determine this. Took it to the mech and just got off the phone... He checked the hubs and axles.. They were both true with no runaway. I had spacers and to be honest I originally thought it was that. But took them off and still had a lot of vibration/wobble, so long story short my mech is thinking it has to do with new wheels/ tires and the wrong lug nuts. So swapping out the lug nuts and will have to take it one drive at a time. FML

Yeah I bet that was a surprise, only half your studs working for you on the one rim. Did the truck start getting some good vibes to alert you or something like that?

Either way good thing you caught it because I'm sure that would have started working the remaining three studs.

When you can you you should redo you wheels with a black with a bit more gloss on them so that they match you top more. Just saying!
