I must say, I'm extremely surprised there were not fat jokes on my pic on the previous page. Made it out alive!

The ol' Zach Burden diet lol

Yeah, the BMI is total bullshit. If you can be 225 lbs and 4% bodyfat and, according to it, you're morbidly obese. It only factors in your height to weight ratio, I believe, so muscle to fat ratio means nothing there. Disregard it.

Assault is my favorite, although a lot of people don't like it.

I hear yah,I'm also a powerlifter and this is why its so hard :) Especially the 15+ range. Its just a challenge, mental challenge of pushing through the pain and not giving up even though your body and mind says to since you have the power to do so

GAT Nitraflex or PMP are my go to's.

5% also has a good one, but only if I'm in a real bind. C4 is laughable at best...

As of today I am giving up alcohol. Interested to see what this does to the fitness. Basically been drinking pretty heavily for the last 20 years..more than half my life. Don't know what its' like to be a sober adult. Time to find out, kinda psyched!

The best "formula" on the market is "prejym" imo.... kaged is also good. I mix my own formula with a couple of buddies to get the best results :)

That's why I alternate heavy and moderate days. My heavy day is 3-8 reps and my moderate day is 8-15...everything is heavy, so the last reps are always the last possible ones I can do. Best of both worlds

I've been wanting to try GAT. My wife uses C4 lol

I usually have 1 alcohol day per week and I use that as my cheat and it's usually Saturday. I usually drink whisky and water or Coke Zero, so the calories are low, but it's still bad for the diet b/c when I drink, I usually eat like crap. And if it's a long night, it screws up my Sunday b/c I just wanna lay in bed all day. Now that I'm in law school and am married, those days are slowly ending though. We all gotta grow up sometime I guess lol

I wasn't too impressed with Pre Jym...average for me at best. But one thing I've noticed is that everyone reacts to everything differently.

My beard game is weak right now. I had to clean shave last Wednesday for a work picture, but it will be back to a somewhat manly length in a week or so lol

I gotta say Optimum Nutritions preworkout gets me pretty good and I can still sleep on it which is a huge plus. If im having a low day, I'll take a Neuro Stim pill by Muscletech on top of it. I drink way to much lately but im still seeing gains so im not giving up beer or whiskey anytime soon. I hope to hit the 1500# club in the next 2 months . Quick question though, how often are you guys maxing out? I usually do about once a month.

Wish I could moderate like that, but unfortunately I haven't been able to figure out how.

Ahhh. I was like that all through college and a little bit after. Every weekend I got blackout wasted and it was bad. When I started law school, I definitely cut that shit out. I still like to throw down and have a good time every now and then (especially during college football season and in the summer time), but for the most part, I keep it to 4-5 whisky drinks on a Saturday just to get a good buzz. Most of my friends are pretty wild, so they still get shit-faced every weekend, but I just had to prioritize. My wife was getting pretty pissed about it, too, so I just figured I had to grow up. I was still acting like I was 21 until about 4 months ago lol. I was able to tone it down, but if I hadn't been able to, I was gonna have to hang up my fun weekends. My goal for the summer is to stop completely so that I can get in the single digit body fat percentages, but I'm like 0-5 with that, so I'm sure it's not gonna happen.

I'd say that you will see better results by not maxing out every month. Try doubles and triples for a max and base 1rm off that. Shoot for 2 months before a 1rm. That's what I've been taught at least and learned. But, what do I know being in the #1100 club :oops::pout:
