After 5-6 weeks I finally received the shackle flip bracket! Just waiting on my Pelfrey battery box, then off to get everything powder coated!

 

Looks damn nice!

Few times I puckered this weekend..happened once or twice dropping down into the quarry and back out too. Really looking forward to doing this!! She needs more flex in the rear and the sway bar ripped off!

Hell we could do the shackle flip and the TC gussets the same day. Plasma is the best tool against those pesky frame rivets anyway. THEY BRING THE SUCK.

Between the angle grinder with a grinding wheel, air hammer and a torch at the shop, I hope we will be okay. I know guys have done it with and angle grinder, wheels and a drill. I hate Toyota for using the damn rivets on the shackle mounts.

I was going to say I haven't a seen "shock relocation" anywhere in the posts.. Just run 12" shocks

 

I won't be right away..no real easy access to a welder at this point.

 

Ok so you're doing the ATO flip to get some extra height and flex?

I was just thinking that if youre going to do all of that you might as well do it in one push with the bed off. That's what I've been told is the better option when it comes to prepping the frame to save some time.

 

I wasn't planning on that..................

I have another welder a little close to me than @NwiTACO but with the holidays and the wedding EXACTLY 4 months from tomorrow, I don't know when I will really have a day to spend getting it done. I still might purchase the kit in case I have a day to spare where I can drive to his house and spend a couple hours getting it done. Most spending is put on hold anyways til after Christmas at least.

If anyone wants to be my Secret Santa though, let me know

 

You don't NEED to take the bed off but i've heard it helps. I'd probably keep the bed on for the shock relocation though
