Do you take off the plastic trim on top of the tailgate to get this in there? Or pull out the whole bedliner? I'm having a hard time figuring out how you did this ha ha

Pull out the side pocket and then go in from underneath.

yes, I have done the mods

This is exactly where I want to mount my compressor - I was on the verge of taking off my bedside to do it when I saw this post. You clearly were able to access that location from the bottom - just by removing the bed pocket? Did you wire it all up first and then mount, or were you able to access all the ports and plugs okay once it was in place?

Any other install notes or complications you can think of?

Had to wire it first. There's not good access to the plugs once the compressor is in place. I mounted it with the filters down so when I need to change them out it would be pretty simple. I'd also get a friend to help you hold it while trying to mount it. This little sucker is heavy when your having to contort your wrist and line up the bolt holes. I also used a makita oscillation multi tool with the plunge cut blade on it to cut out the bed rib.

Once I get back I'll mod one of the lids to do something similar to this. Thanks to MrGrimm for posting the YouTube video.

Forgot to post these awhile back. Shot of the CB antenna placement and where I routed the cable. The first one is a shitty pic. Losing light too fast.

how did the rigid plugs match up with that switch from air on board. I drilled out one of my spares and put the red LED rocker the bar comes with in one, kinda want that switch you have. Also how did it fit into that spare slot. did you have to mod the plastic at all. May have some ARB installation questions as well. Just bought the front and rear lockers

The Air On Board push switch is pretty much a universal button. And no modding to the dash the switch is made to fit in perfectly. All kinds here.

As far as the ARB question I don't have mine connected to lockers at the moment. But deff can give you some insight on the compressor install.

Well one down one to go. Those of you who did these without taking the seats out deserve a damn medal.
