I picked it up today. The first one the dealer sold.

First impression, interior is nice.
Drives much better then the previous years.
Engine i don't have too much comment since i am properly breaking it in.

Apparently the jeep is Darth Vader and the tacoma is a storm trooper =D/

Amazon delivered my trunk mat. Same part number as the previous years. Fit's perfect.

Also tinted my truck with Madico Onyx Tint 35% Front Rear over factory tint 20%
Sunroof 5%

It came out pretty decent. Visibility is fine since, I have a car seat in the middle it blocks my view already.

Planning to do HID's and LED lights next.

Quick Night Update 9-27-2015
Beautiful lights, but it looks like it glares a little too much, may be because of the projector. Apparently it looks great 5500k color. I love true white not blue at all. It glares on the side and a little above the beam cut off. One of the pictures of me one a slope. I would of blinded the people in the parking lot if they were in their cars. I love the DRL lights it matches very well. I will post more pictures when I have time this was a quick snap shot when I went out.






10-5-2015:
Andrew sent over H11B bulbs from TheRetrofitSource. It plugs it great and looks much better. The H11 bulbs i got earlier did not fit perfectly and had a lot of glare.
The bulbs are on point and the customer service from TheRetrofitSource is hands down the best. I have to say that these HID is the best HID kit i ever own. Then again my truck also has a great projector to beam these lights. The cut off looks better and the beam is great. I installed the bulbs quickly and only took a few shots at night.









October 31 2015 Update:
Bought NFAB 3 inch tubes. Has 6 mounting points, but the truck only had 5. Looks pretty good and looks pretty solid. Wasn't too heavy and the one I purchase was the texture.

December 19 2015 Update:
Added OEM Mud Flaps and a Toyota exhaust tip oem.

Have you had any issues with the HID conversion? Anything you would have done different? I have a white TRD DCLB and am looking into HID lights, still in the process of installing led exterior lights, now if I can just stop the hyperflash with the headlights on, I can concentrate on HID's.
Im not far from you (San Carlos) found mine at Marin Yota.

 

No the HID works perfect. I worked on the my interior led and led for the reverse and license plate. I wished, I bought some brighter bulbs. I prefer 5k bulbs over 6k. I probably would replace the led's I have later next year, but they work for now.

and how do i know what size of HID Ballasts 35w or 50w?

My HID ballast was 35. I was thinking of 50, but they would need replacing earlier and the 35 is plenty of bright.

 

Was there any issues installing the HIDs in regards to the windshield washer fluid tank etc?

 

No, not really didn't have any issues what so ever.

I bought it with my rugged liner cover. there was a 50 dollar mail in rebate as well.
I didnt get the bigger rectangular one since it will get in the way with the tonneau cover. This gives me the space i need to open it.

Love the HIDs, it's such a blessing Toyota finally put a projector type housing and reflector in the Tacoma, with the right bulb in there the upgrade in lighting is safe as well as functional!

 

Checked out your thread after seeing a link since I also have a Super White TRD...then noticed it was Sunnyvale Toyota! Then noticed you went to Extreme Tint the same shop I've been going to since my first car. Great minds think alike!
