Pardon me if I'm asking a stupid question....

Currently have installed 3 separate LED lights of some sort or other.

    Hood scoop LED bar
    LED rocker lights
    LED bed lights

Engine compartment is getting a tad messy....question is this,

Can you install TOO many lights??
Last thing I want is to cause some electrical issue! Also, with my 1yr old truck still under warranty, would the dealer say anything if they noticed all these new connections??
    Thanks TW!!

Clean it up by adding a fuse block. Something like a blue sea, spod, bussman, etc.

Although I've never installed one on a Tacoma personally(lurking on this sub forum for ideas) I've worked on a lot of electrical wiring on various vehicles. I don't know what type of experience you have with electrical but running your own harness, breakers and relays is pretty damn simple. There are plenty of great write ups on this site and others. In most cases it really is as simple as "wire A to fuse panel slot B, fuse panel slot B to light bar 1"

Be thankful you're not in the business of repairing school busses. Every time I open up an antiquated Thomas wiring diagram I want to off myself :frusty:

    Just a few LEDs...
There's no such thing as "too many lights" in my opinion, however I might be a little biased. :D

Too many lights is like asking too much ammo.

look at your alternator specs and compare to the load from each light, don't forget to add the OEM draw too. adding 2 light bars is nothing though, the LEDs are not like HIDs for amp draw. For the mess under the hood get a nice fuse/relay box. I think from what you listed maybe 10 amps if all are on that's not much. There is always the option for a bigger alternator if you start pulling alot.

Hood scoop is the only light bar. Just don't like all the wires under the hood.

Looks great! What did you do for your hood scoop light bar? Did you use C4's kit?

@grdgz97 How was the install? Difficult? Not too bad? And is the light bar pretty bright, or would you recommend me get a 30 inch light bar behind my lower grill?

The BlueSea aux fuse box is an inexpensive way to clean it up.

I would think the 30 would put off more light than the hood scoop light. Maybe start with the 30 then do hood scoop after?

Install is just tedious. There is some cutting and trimming involved so you gotta be careful. I've never done any install like that before so it took me some time. Light has some good output, I still want to add a light in the lower grill!
