Nice. I didn't even know they still offered the dclb. It's a good config.

What they said and longer is always better in the snow at highway speeds.

I wanted to get a DC Long Bed originally for the extra foot, so I could have the option of hauling my motorcycle in the bed instead of the trailer. Or hauling a bike or 2 in the bed plus another 2 on the trailer.

I ended up ordering the short bed once I measured my garage and found it would be about 4 inches too short to accommodate the long bed and I don't want to park it outside! :)

My main issue with the LB was they seem to turn like a Bus even though the wb is only a foot longer. Don't think WB makes a huge difference in the snow once you get past about 100 inches or so. SWB like my FJ40 and such can get interesting. Had my DCSB up to Markleville yesterday with whiteout conditions over Luther Pass and Bumper Car Derby going on at Echo Summit and it did just fine. Would argue about the 2wd working just fine in the snow...maybe, but when it ceases to work it is usually too late. Better to flip the switch and be safe. th4.jpg

Wow! Great photos! It is, to me at least, refreshing to see our Tacomas at work (be it hauling, mudding, snow driving, etc.). Thanks!

Very true. Once you start to slide is very easy to lose control. If you have the capability to use 4wd, it's much safer to use it when the going gets slippy.

The best looking Tacoma is the access cab with the 6' bed.

Ok 7 weeks. Unless you have some sort of inside connections. I just told that by two dealers in Maryland that a OR long bed with JBL would be 8 to 10 weeks
