    Worked really well actually

    We set the 3 grounds in plane with each other first on bond lines and the 1 x 2's are screwed into the grounds holding the marble in plane till the thin set hardens

    I probably would have put the stripper pole at a 90 degree angle, and made it an actual pole instead of a board, but hey what the client wants the client gets right?
