    There was really no snow until you pass UTC. FYI, dirt trails in the Tahoe NF will be closed December 31st. El Dorado and Stanislaus NF dirts roads have been closed since December 8th. There are exceptions but I would confirm with Ranger. I am planning to get a run to Eagle lake this weekend before the closure.

    I should clarify. Yes there is snow but nothing substantial on the road. The snow does not get deep until farther up Wentworth. I was just up there Sunday.

    There usually isn't at UTC but just up the road there is a little over 6000' so there is usually more there if not keep going pass loon lake you will get to the point of no return. However tomorrow snow level is dropping the 2000' so UTC will get some more at the cabin and that road will be a mess.
