Tomorrow is my first real day, today was just orientation and a tour of the island. Then Wednesday is a 1/2 day since we are having a party, Thursday we should be getting let out early, and off Friday

 

I think this BlueT guy must be related to our old buddy Brian Mauck from the FJ world.....lol..... But he is building a 400hp Taco now. LOL

 

400hp taco sounds like a recipe for broken drive train /pistons through the block

 

I think it's cool as long as I don't own it. I would like to see the autopsy after 20k miles

 

Ya I can't imagine the sleeves/pistons will look too good.

Oh this guy is special beyond words. Built his "Super FJ".....Famous for his youtube videos doing "walk arounds". Made himself a target beyond anything reasonable. Arguing with a camera about all his haters. Then he finally destroyed his FJ in a mud puddle. Shut everything down only to show up a few months later with a black tacoma build.

 

Was that the FJ that got stuck in the puddle overnight and it froze in? Was there a thread about it on here?

 

Nah this guy is from West Virginia. He put a 6 inch lift on his truck and decided he was an expert truck builder. Tread Lightly was for pussies. Banging off the rev limiter was what the motor was designed for....lol. It went on and on. Just a caricature of an off roader. Blew up his truck in a puddle. 8 inches deep and mud.

No big deal. He wanted attention and got that and a touch more. Fun stuff

Now he is all street. 4x4 dbl cab Taco. Says he is making 367hp at the back wheel. Videos of burnouts and parking lot donuts. Calls himself "THE LEGEND" on youtube now....lol

Can you even understand a fucking word he's saying??!! Because I can't. Dude can't be speaking English because that sure as well doesn't sound like what I speak.

 

Sounds like a pretty normal WV accent. I've heard much worse.

 

LOL. I was just being a wise ass. My brother in law lives down there, so I'm kinda used to it. Overall people are real nice.

Sooooooooooooo I decided to change my spark plugs after work today. Figured I've put over 20k on the truck since I bought it. Found out that the spark plugs are ORIGINAL!!!! 150K on the original plugs.

Recommended gap is .039-.043. These were measuring at .071 for the tightest gap I could find lmao



Proves to me that this engine is amazing. No misfires or anything! Also makes me worry what else hasn't been done... I'm glad I've done the trans, diffs, and t-case, as well as other maintenance items. I don't understand how people can neglect their vehicles like this. I love making sure that everything is running well.

 

If he can't drive that in the rain, especially in 4wd, he needs to stay off of the road.

 

I enjoyed his he said he basically needs 4wd on the road in the rain....I call shenanigans and feelnbad for his cv axles.

 

Painful to watch 1 out of 10.
