Picked up the Leer today and happy with it. Sealed and waxed it. Gonna work on lifting the Tacoma up a bit next. It's starting to look like a land Yacht.

I don't think you are supposed to wash [with soap]or wax them for a couple months.

Leer paint has the floppies, can match at one angle and be off color wise at another angle.

The base model is $1400. I paid $250.00 more for the frameless window's. With $100.00 off coupon it was $1,700 installed.

Jamie, this is very nice looking, I recently got quotes on the 100xl and 100xq for my DC SB. I would love to see some photos of the inside and closeup of the meet up at the tailgate and rear door. Congrats and Thanks! Also where in Knoxville did you get yours?

If I keep creeping these truck cap threads I'll think I have to have one. Tina my banker would like me to get the truck cap fever I'm sure.

Trying to convince myself I can live with the automatic so I can get a DCLB with topper. Being able to sleep in the bed is a nice option for when I don't wanna pull my camper to the mountains.

Yes the color is off-spoke to them and taking it back tomorrow. Don't think they have their paint dialed in yet.

That's odd, I believe the paint on the 16's is the same as on 2015's. Paint code should be 1G3.

When it gets time to for me to pull the trigger I will give the automatic another chance.

My Ringo Schnauzer and I do some camping trips and sleep in the bed. It works well. Next time the wife pisses me off, I'm gonna sleep in the bed just for general purpose. Damn, I like this truck!

Yes they said it was the same color as older models. The paint swatch from Leer does match the camper. However, the truck is a lighter grey?

I've got a friend who just got his XR. It seems to match the 16' paint pretty well.

That looks like a perfect match to me. The camper I received came out a bit darker than my truck. However, took it back and the camper does match their paint sample?
Maybe I just want wash it as much and I won't notice.

that picture looks quite a bit better than the first ones you posted. Must have been the angle or lighting?
Does their paint sample match the truck?

Looks like your 4x4 sticker is lower too. Ive seen some where the lip of the camper covers the top edge. Ive got one on order & it should be here in 2 more weeks or so.
