I had bilstein 5100 (set at .85) installed with 887s installed on my DCSB TRD Sport with 2" blocks. I measured the center of hub to bottom of wheel well but forgot the measurements...thought I wrote them down somewhere. Immediately after the install I am at 24" in the front and 24.5" in the rear. I think I was somewhere around 21" front and 22" rear if I remember correctly.1913676_10100413321138380_5729696206646203708_n.jpg

Hopefully you don't run into issues 887's are not designed to run like that.

The 3rd gens are already higher in the front than 2nd gens. And 887's are meant to run with the 5100 at the zero position. Did you get new UCA's as well as an alignment?

Alignment will happen after holidays are over. The shop that did the install doesn't do alighnments. I understand the 887s are suppose to be at Zero, but I like to rebel against the norm. If it causes major issues I will have the shocks lowered back down.

Sorry if my lift offends you. If alightment is way off I will have UCA installed, if that is still a problem, I can lower the bilsteins back to zero.

Not offended at all man don't want to see you ruin a nice new truck. You pretty much just put a 4 inch lift on the front of your truck. If you don't run into issues that is great, but I am thinking you will. Did you read the big thread that the guys at Toytec put out that they say people that are thinking of lifting a 3rd gen need to read this. Just looking out for ya man that's all.

yea I have been combing through a lot of threads of this forum and have seen about 4 other people who did the same exact thing as I did with the .85/887 front combo...I'll see what happens down the road.

How is that possible if an 887 coil is deigned for 3 inches of lift with the 5100 set at 0

i know, i priced out my kit with headstrong and thats what i ordered, 887s set at 0 to give me 3 inches, and i got 2 inches up front, or a little less, i was pissed, so i went up a notch and got 3, maybe 887s on the 2016s don't give 3, i don't know, I'm over it
