    Ive had toytec, icon, and fox long travel... They all work..... If you plan on wheeling fox, king, or icons are worth the money...

    BP-51s, UCAs, BAMF sliders, SCS Stealth 6, 285 Wildpeaks, HIDs, LEDs, custom grille, hard top.
    I believe that's because 3rd gen is slightly higher (maybe just in the front?) from the factory. I believe I saw that mentioned by Toytec when they were developing their kit for the 3rd gen. Otherwise they should be the same.

    Front Coil over #'s:

    King: 21.687 ext and 16.75 com. 4.937" of travel.
    Fox: 22.48 ext and 17.59 com. 4.89" of travel.
    Icon:22.574 ext and 17.42 com. 5.154" of travel

    More travel=more better. Need uppers though.

    That's over simplifying it to say the least. It's easier to tune with longer travel numbers but if it's not tuned well out of the box travel length is useless. That's not even getting into internals since we're talking about basic shocks that are probably never going to get touched.

    True, but I've heard that with the Kings, you barely get any more droop travel, even when paired with the uniball UCA's. Looking at the extended length #'s, I'd agree. Sometimes it not about quality of dampening, when all you want is your tread to touch the ground. I'm still undecided with what shocks I'm going to go with, but I'd like as much real info as possible to help me decide.

    I wonder what the up and down travel will be with the Old Man Emu BP-51s. I hope their specs are good. At the moment I am going to hold off lifting mine until they are available for the 2016. Hope I won't be dissapointed.

    Keep on waiting.... Maybe another 4 years and they'll have em....
    I'd like to add their coils to the discussion, but I think their shocks are not a priority to release at all...

    In the front, suspension travel is limited by the CV joints. Even if ARB magically ecks out more travel from a given shock body length than King or Icon, it won't be useful.
