Anyone recognize this truck? May be looking at it this wknd...

Hey everyone, so there's a chance I'll be checking this truck out this coming Saturday in hopes of maybe buying it and I was wondering if anyone out there in Tacoma World land recognizes it or knows who previously owned it (or even if the previous owner is reading this...?). I'm just inquiring because of all the mods that have been done to it. It'd just help me rest easier before going to check it out...

Also, is this even the right area of the forums to be asking this? Sorry. New here...

Its a great price! I spent 24k for my ALL stock 2010 Speedway blue Tacoma with 80K.. kinda makes pisses me off seeing this ad. You should jump on it. I dont think youd regret it at all.

The price is a bit high for a 2010, but it does have a lot of really nice extras. While technically the resale value doesn't go up because of mods, I'd be willing to pay a little more for a truck with those extras (especially the supercharger).

 

Just read that its supercharged as well! Great buy. I bought mine from Beaman toyota in Nashville FYI

 

Right! I think we'll still try and negotiate down a bit, but I'm still inclined to agree with you.

Yeah, the fact that it's supercharged isn't a bad thing! I'm kind of excited to see it in person. What about those aftermarket headlights (is that the proper term???)? Are those some cheap knock offs, orrrr....?

 

I actually think the bumpers look great! Especially since the rear bumper adds a continuity to the ensemble...but I will certainly keep you in mind if that bridge needs to be crossed!

The best part is the dealer doesn't even know what it has. The only aftermarket thing they talk about is the supper charger...then they don't provide picture proof of it
Slap on some sliders and skids and you're good to go

 

Headlights seem stock not sure the brand of the fog lights.. Hell and fox shocks... damn me

 

Other than the dealership being total toolbags and bullshitting you about the price of the TRD supercharger. A 12k option? lol Looks like a very nice truck. Talk them down a bit. "Own the only Tacoma like this in the COUNTRY" go smoke more crack. lol

 

They emailed me pics of it today. Looks very clean.

Agreed. As of this morning the dealership still had it...plan on calling them tomorrow at day end just to make sure of its presence then I'm jumping over there first thing Saturday! Thanks again, y'all!
