I just pick tooled mine out without any issues. I wasn't very careful because I had new ones waiting lol.

As much as I love turbo vehicles, (MS3, STi, and an LBZ dmax between dad and I) I still think I'd be going LS instead of turboing the 3rz. The ecm limitations are really frustrating from Toyota.

Still bitchin to do a custom 3rz turbo though

Only if there was a Cobb ap for toyota. That be heaven. Nope only schizophrenic stock ecu or a lot of $ and time for standalone.

Cobb makes everything so easy with the AP. They are awesome. Standalone is great when it works but the time and money is insane to get it there. Then if you mess a table up...roasted motor.

Knocked the fuel pump out tonight. Going to leave it out of the cell for now and hope I can get in contact with the guy who was going to fix a crack in it

He's in advance, just outside of clemmons. I'll ask him rates of you want? He's always been reasonable with me.. and he's a toyota guy..

Made some progress on the exhaust today.

Also cut 2 45* bends for the 3" pipe and 2 90* bends for the 1.75" wastegate pipe

Charge pipe is done, came out pretty sweet. The hose for air to bypass the throttle body is too short so I'll have to pick up another. Also got the check in the fuel cell repaired while we were at it

You will be happier if you plug the fpr line into the intake manifold instead of the throttle body.

@MadTaco461 that better? I'll have to get a "t" since that's where I was planning to hook the bov up as well

Exactly. My bov, fpr, map sensor, and boost gauge reference from that area. You get really clean readings right there. Throttle body does some weird stuff because it gives a venturi effect.

Nice so I'll just t off that line for the bov and the boost gauge as well

That clogged port next to it is a 1/8 npt thread. I used that for my boost gauge and map sensor

My aem boost sensor is 1/8 npt so I'll just thread it right in and I'll have one less vacuum line to run
