That truck Blue books (private party, for that year, mielage, zip code) for 23K without taking into account ANY of the upgrades. It's an awesome price, but of course, always try and talk them down.

Oh don't worry. I've already talked them down a touch over the phone since I'll be trading in my dumb Kia SUV...

Actually, don't buy it. If you do, You'll miss out on the fun of doing it all yourself from scratch and learning how and why your truck functions the way it does.

Haha! This is true...but I was thinking of adding on to what's already there. Maybe. Assuming the two toddlers allow me the time!

Two toddlers...I'm thinking this is your truck you're trying to sell and you've posted here strategically to drum up interest to get more money to trade into a Sienna or Odyssey.

I look at it like this with what ever car I buy......I never pay what they ask. Don't let him tell you what all the mods cost......he didn't pay for them. I'd shoot for 25k out the door as what you want.....if he'll meet you half way your golden. Even if you get it for 28 out the door....still a great deal. I just personally never pay what they're asking....good luck, hope it works out for ya.

LOL-hell no!!! Not that kind of dude. As an avid hiking and backpacking family who may end up moving to rural Oregon in the near future we would never consider getting rid of a sweet truck like this if we had it. Haha!

I subscribe to your exact line of thinking as well and certainly won't agree to sticker price...especially since I'm pretty sure they're unsure of what they're sitting on, and, thusly, probably didn't take that into consideration.

Yeah keep in mind for negotiation purposes that the TRD s/c is not a 12k option lol. More like 5-6.

LOL oh yeah, I've done a little research since first seeing the truck. If it's truly a $12,000 s/c it better tie my dang shoes at least!

Also, am I safe to assume that this is the compressor that goes to the switches seen in one of the pics?

Something seems fishy to me. Google the VIN. It was on eBay twice with a $25k minimum bid, but the auction was ended early. And it shows it is in PA, not TN.

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/-/151845716486?vxp=mtr

Someone dumped a LOT of aftermarket money into this truck. Why sell it after that much money and that low of miles?
I'm not saying its not a good deal, it seems like it is, but just be sure you know what you're getting. I would for sure have a PPI done before buying something as modded as that.
Good luck, let us know how it goes.

Yeah, the Carfax report jumps from Illinois to Arizona or New Mexico to Pennsylvania at one point. Perhaps military...? The dealership did say that this was a third vehicle for the owner and, as such, was a hobby of sorts.

Also that other guy got an actual pic of it, so all we can say is good luck then. All I know is I wouldn't sell the truck with the winch still lol but that's a plus for you.

See if you can track down the "1 owner". Would be awesome to chat with him/her and get the scoop.
