    ARB SS170HF Safari snorkel install like the one below. Has anyone on the CO front range done this to a 3rd gen 4R (or 1st gen Taco) before? Everything looks simple enough, BUT drilling 6 screw holes & a 3" hole in a damage/rust free quarter panel makes me nervous. A garage with a 7'6" clearance would be nice, but a warm winter day would do as well. :help:

    One of the most important things I learned in college was not to buy the books. The library has to have a copy of the text and the teachers get a cut for requiring a text. Especially when they tell you that an older version is not sufficient.

    A small handful of select mods.
    Sorry I don't have a tall enough garage. The key here is taking care of the sheet metal you cut into. Make sure you get a nice BRUSH on primer that you apply all the way around the hole and both sides. I got mine at Lowe's. Kind of a needle in a hay stack search but you will find it.

    I am sure there are a lot of volunteers that want to drill holes in things for you but, honestly it's a right of passage for the owner. You need to make that big hole. :)
