And how did you guys manage to get 10 sheets just in the doors? @3378jakesr5 got like 7 to fit and even that was kinda tricky

We got a crap ton in the interior of he doors. I think we covered them almost fully.

It's amazing how much you mis in a dimly lit garage and being 18 degrees cold and dropping......

So how much of a difference do you think it would make to do just the roof, back wall, and floor? Or does the soundproofing mainly come from doing the doors?

Leaving the doors alone to begin with, because we all know if you pull the door panels the temptation for new door speakers skyrockets.

I think the roof had the biggest improvement especially if you have a rack or light bar. And the doors are not all that bad. You will be mumbling under your breath the whole time about the stupid black goo that they use to hold the plastic backing in place that you will never think of the speakers. And you do get 2 layers in the doors so it helps a lot. Just in keeping vibrations down. Like @CoTacoTRD said to me last night when I shut a door. The air pressure was good enough to kinda Hurt his ears. That's just showing how well the stuff keeps things from vibrating.

So when you put that stuff in the interior of the doors, how in the world do you get all in there if it's sticky on the back? I can see myself ruining a good amount of material trying to get way in there.

It's not supper super sticky and as long as you don't push it on it manages. Cut it taco style and slide it through the hole and it goes in just fine.

How difficult is the headliner to remove and does it make things more difficult to put back on when you have the extra thickness of the mat on there?

Do you think I could do my roof and floor with just one pack?

The thickness isn't an issue as the headliner is gapped away from the roof. The difficulty depends on whether or not you have curtain air bags in the ceiling. What Jake noticed yesterday is a significant difference between models when it comes to taking the interior apart which I would not have expected. Adding the roof in doubled the time of install.

If you are gonna do all of the floor you might need 1.5 packs. My roof took 5 sheets. And John you are totally right with the floor all of my sound is no coming from the front floor. I need another 5 sheets to get the front floor and firewall area. So if you get more boxes I will split one with you.

If I take out my front seats and do the entire floor I might become really tempted to not put the stock seats back in. :D

Anything in particular to watch out for when removing the headliner if you have the airbags? As I have them too. Or do you just pull down on all the trim pieces to remove them and the unscrew the visor holders and overhead console?

Actually I don't have the air bags so my install would be different from yours. You have to remove all of the pillar plastic, roof center console, oh shit handles, sun visors and clips, rear clothing hooks and I think that is it.

I had them wrapped by a place called Accessorie's Inc. up north off of 72nd and I-25. The owner has been a long time friend or... was. He will never call me back now so I kind of gave up on him and take my business elsewhere now. Not sure who to recommend you to now. Jeff Becket did my vinyl roof and tailgate but I don't think he has dealt in clear bra. @steezemcqueen does Jeff have a screen name on here?
