Since signing on I have enjoyed reading all the posts. I since got the 2016 bug and traded my 2005 Sport in for a 2016 TRD Sport 4x4 DCSB with premium package with JBL, tow package, exhaust tip, carpet mats with door sill protection, dealer installed window tint with door edge guards. Used Costco program. MSRP $39,043, my cost $36,720 plus tax, title, license and fees. Cost of $500 over invoice at Precision Toyota of Tucson. Picked up vehicle early October when dealer had several 16's on lot with no OR's. I traded in a 05 TRD Sport 4x4 with 3" lift, Magnaflow exhaust, Weld billet wheels, gas tank shield, KN filter. Truck had 85,000 miles never repaired other than tires and batteries. Dealer gave me $16500 which equates to almost $18,000 when you allow for tax benefit. Not too bad for 10 1/2 year old truck. New truck so far a 1 1/2" front level Pro Comp kit, Magnaflow dual exhaust (love the sound) and waiting for FN wheels and AT tires. My old Sport never got stuck in the wilds of Arizona boon docks while hunting. Last time out with 05 was Elk hunting in nasty muddy Northern Arizona. No Elk but friend arrowed a 5x5 bull at 72 yards(wow). New truck has averaged 18 to 18.66 mpg in town so far. Will post upgrades when wheels come in.
On another note the latest Consumers Report did a survey on 2015 vehicles for reliability a for pick ups Tundra rated highest for most improved and Ram 2500 for worst with Canyon and Colorado next worst. Did not list Tacoma probably no change (just consistent good quality). The latest Motor Trend still picks Colorado and Canyon as 2016 truck of the year, ha. Let's see what happens next year in Consumer Reports . that's it for now. MERRY CHRISTMAS and Happy new year to all.

I usually don't like wheel upgrades but those sport wheels are ugly. Good choice to get rid of then

Just goes to show... we are all wired differently. I happen to be a big fan of the stock Sport wheels. Think they look great and added bonus... easy to clean.

    OP... sharp truck, congrats !

Pics of the exhaust setup please. How much did it cost? Any improved performance?

Magnaflow with dual exhaust cost about $350. Will take photos in the next day or so. At a Christmas Eve diner. Merry Christmas.

As far as better performance I think there is a slight improvement. I think it may help. The sound is cool, not quite the V8 sound.
