    About time!

I might run another group buy after New Years. Steel is cheap so it will probably be the best pricing ever. And I got my fedex discount increased to 50%. :dancingafricanbaby:

If you have the TRD e-locker rear those shafts will not fit. All e-lockers are ABS housings regardless if the truck has ABS on not.

No E-locker option for my 2.7 doublecab. I have a powertrax no slip in it and non abs housing.

    Fine then, carry on.
Didn't want you to press in the studs then have to return the shafts.

One thing that has me stumped is this statement on Low ranges web site.

"2001+ Toyota Tacoma's without ABS will need 79-95 Minitruck bearing pockets and bearing kit for these axles to work."

Parker at Lowe Range checked multiple times with the shop and said to use the standard rear bearing kit. They were out of the ultimate bearing kit so I just got some from oreily's.

    Thanks for the concern.
I only ended up with 6 new wheel studs, will I be able to salvage 6 more from the old axle shafts? Or do you reckon Toyota might have some in stock?

Hard to say, they are a relatively common replacement part.

I like to spread the word on the TRD=ABS thing to save folks the cussing I went thru when I "thought" I had all the parts together for a seal/bearing job on mine.:(

Problem with the buds is the transfer is so long it bends super easy with basic contact. Needs reinforcement

I never heard of that, standard seems right to me. There was a bearing part# change around 01. I have changed out plenty but never compared the years side by side. The OEM shaft part #'s are the same for all 4wd/prerunners, just different between ABS/TRD and non ABS (talking 6 lug).

Understandable. A few strips of angle iron should do the trick, no?

Question for you auto 3.4 4x4 trucks. Where the front drive shaft connects to the front diff. Does that transmission bell housing sit pretty close to that? It looks like its going to be close.

I'm not 3.4 but my front diff pinion and transmission bell housing are kinda close. I can get a pic if you'd like?
