Yessir! Working on it slowly lol your driver regulates the voltage. You don't want an uneven voltage going to your halos. Also it contains your switchback driver. I used to have my White leds connected to my dtrl but I now have it wired to a switch so I can just turn it off and on whenever I want to.

I did the same on mine but the halos still went bad, hopefully when I have the funds I can finally get my new set of lights

Gym_jamz, on the halo wiring, did you just cut off the ends and then tap into a power source? See below pic for what I am talking about.

Yes. I am thinking that is what I will do. Use t tabs. I was just hoping to be able to find some connection for the ambers in the front vs having to run a wire all the way to tail lights.

If you find it, let me know. There may be a relay up front, or maybe something in the engine fuse box you can tap into

Gym_jamz, did you paint your shroud? Also, did you put any foil tape around lens to keep any light from bleeding out?

I did when I was painting my bowls, bezels, etc. Black bowl and chrome shrouds look good too! I didnt, you can. Although I kinda like it cause it makes my shroud light up at night

That works coming out like that. As for connectors, I may be wrong but they are side specific; polarity specific

Can anyone shedd some light for me on my switchback halos.

I only have the white hooked up, my blinker isn't connected at all. Few days ago, my white turned to amber even tho the blinker wire wasn't connected. Decided today to take a look, when I grabbed the little black housing that's part of the harness it went back to white. I gave it a couple taps/shakes to see if it would go back to amber. For now it's white, but idk about the longevity of it now. I got it thru an authorized distributor on TW in June, so what are my options?

You have to warranty that driver/resistor through that authorized dealer. Still under warranty for sure
