2016 Grille

Is the SR, SR5, and Limited the same grille? It looks like the limited is just painted and the Limited and SR5 have a chrome bezel. I am thinking of upgrading my TRD Sport to the limited grille.

 

Imo all the oem grilles are just OK looking. You will pay top dollar to swap oem grilles right now. I'm just going to wait and go aftermarket with all the awesome new grilles coming out.

It seems the SR, SR5, and Limited grilles are the same except for the slight differences between the models. I have a white TRD Sport that I switched the grille to the limited one. Nothing against the aftermarket crowd but my personal preference was to stay with a Toyota oem grille. The SR grille was to much black for my taste and the SR5 was better with the chrome bezel but I still thought the deep black was a bit to much for my white truck. The limited grille was just right for me since it is a little lighter and I do like that style of grille, certainly much better than the "mesh" style that came on it originally IMO. However I have seen pictures where some owners have painted the mesh grilles black while leaving the bezel and "T" emblem chrome. I thought that actually looked pretty good and that would have been my second choice if the Limited style grille was not available.
