I took a look at pictures from a few other people who have a lightbar on their prinsu and it looks like I can do it with the brackets that came with my lightbar. I just attach them to the very first crossbar

I forgot to get a picture for you of my light bar mounted! But I'll try to remember tomorrow :)

I wanted the top of my light to be level with the crossbars behind it so the bottom of the light is close to the roof and the top is where I want it to be. My light came with L brackets which I used to fasten it to the crossbar. In the picture below (as far as I can remember), my cross bar was originally bolted horizontally through the first small slot with both screws. I removed my wind deflector and the crossbar that holds it on. The first crossbar was relocated to be mounted vertically and I mounted it in the lower two of the three holes that are in a line. Then I bolted my lights L bracket to that.
I was planning on cutting the deflector to go around it, but mounting my light like that would leave very little of the deflector so I just left it off.

I put a reminder on my phone so I dont forget to grab a picture... but no promises. :D

Some pictures would definitely help but from your description I think I know how you did it. My lightbar also came with L brackets and I'm wondering if they will work

Boom, even some fresh Christmas flurries joined in the picture.

At that position it does throw light on the windshield which I am not thrilled about. I tilted it one notch up which was better but then it whistled like a mofo at any speed above 20mph.

I could try and move it forward (and drill new holes), but I figure I'll try it offroad first and see how it works in the real world.

Can you still have your wind deflector on with it mounted like that?

He did his low because he wanted to carry lumber and such up there and not take out his light. If you want to mount it taller we can mod that to work just fine. You'll have to come over and we will get it done.

Might have to drill a new hole. Can we do that without messing up the powdercoat? @3378jakesr5

It will put a hole in it but it's aluminum so it won't rust but if we are further forward it might help with glare.

Speaking of glare I wonder if I can find a Matte silver to do my hood kinda like @CoTacoTRD has.

This is a single row bar too. So a bit slimmer then a double row.
