Was curious so just looked it up, one website says you have a 4.8G tank.

I dont think its that big. I know ive never hit 200 miles on the trip meter. And it really is consistent on 43 ever since ive owned it.

Also, how do you like your DRZ SM? That may be the supermoto I get later on down the road.

Idk then. It doesnt go that far.
Love it. Honestly wish i would have ridden one before a sport bike. Its kinda fat/low on power stock but that doesnt make it less fun. Throw a few parts at it and its tons more fun. Its a tank too, been dropped so many times and have yet to break a single thing. Knock on wood. Always starts up after being dropped. Reliable. Only thing i plan to do next is a big bore and cams.

Ive ridden it 500 miles in two days, beating the piss put of it. Commute on it highway. It does everything for me.

Although sometimes i wouldnt mind a larger supermoto along the lines of the ktm 690 or the husky 701.

Matt...all you need to know is that mine went into a tank slapper at 52mph, it wheelie'd and went down on the right side. Looking at my build thread, can you even tell? ;)

    Its a fucking tank.

Ordered Arctiva glove liners, Shoei pinlock insert, and Sena SMH10R bluetooth system with some Christmas money I got. Sena was on sale for $155 (normal price of $220) and I had $30 of Revzilla cash rewards saved, so I saved about $100, which is nice.

My Scorpion gloves are good down into the high 40's, but my hands start to get real chilly below that so the glove liners will be nice. The pinlock insert will stop the fogging I get when stopped, especially when I'm wearing my balaclava. The wired speakers I have now are fine but it will be nice to be able to connect via Bluetooth and not be wired in. I'll also be able to talk on the phone in the (albeit rare) occasions I need to.

I got SMH10R...a little less talk and standby time (2 hours less on both I think) but a lot more low profile than the 20S.

Received Shoei pinlock insert and Sena SMH10R.

Hopefully insert helps with the fogging I get when I'm stopped and my visor is closed, especially when I wear my balaclava.

Sena install was more of a PITA than I was expecting, but wasn't too bad. Just having to push all the wires under cheek pads was annoying. It's charging now so I'll see how it operates when I ride to FD tonight.

I'll post up pics later when it's done charging. Glove liners are still in transit.

I have the SMH10 and love it. The only complaint about it versus their other products is distance of bluetooth comms.

    SMH10: 900 meters
    10S: 1,600 meters
    20S: 2,000 meters

Reason I don't recommend the SMH10R is because it's harder to feel what buttons you're pressing, and the battery is only 8 hours versus the 12+ of the other ones I mentioned.

All the other differences are things like FM radio and how many people you can intercom with at once.

For price point you can get the SMH10 for $150 on Amazon versus the $209 for the 10S and $240 for the 20S.
