    Wrecked!
Just want to give everyone a heads up. I was recently scammed out of $50 well its not much but to me its the point that maters. I sold my rack for over a soft top to hats009 she is from bend Oregon and there story was they were heading to Baja to surf. She kept trying to talk me down lower but I wasn't trying to loose anymore then I already was on the deal. That rack was well worth $250 shit it was worth more. Well they gave me a $50 gift card to home depot and since I was going to buy a new dryer mine just died I though ya I will take that.Since they were members on here I thought I could trust them.anyone who might run into them pass on for me a big fuck you very much from me. Well I'm sure karma will get them back. I guess being a good person doesn't always pay off. the thing that really upsets me is I took the time to help them and install her soft top and my old rack for them. To only have them pay me less then I asked for. Shit they should of paid me more for installing there top and rack. I have her cell number maybe I should post it so everyone can give her a text on your thoughts.

A better idea might be that the offenders truck gets nabbed and stripped to just the frame and cab Just left as pile of parts. This would set an example to others that might try the same.

^Sounds like some Jail time to me. I prefer mild harassment on social media and telephones. Anything else is pretty much asking for legal retaliation. While I'd love to go slash some tires every time something like this happens, A) its $50, B) we still dont have a final word on them, its been barely a week, and C) TW doesn't advocate illegal activities. Also, D) just get a thread going on this buyer and watch TW torches get lit

What part of intimidation are you not understanding? Clearly the seller did not give up possession with the final payment to be paid at another time. Then crossing boarders after such act.

The seller could also remove his rack, and maybe just happens that the bed is easier to remove than the rack off the bed.

Using a bogus gift card is also a gray area of counterfeiting. Like taking a photo copy a bill then go off spending it.

Surly the seller nabbed a pic of his handiwork on the installation with a plate number

I don't quite see what you're saying here, its one thing to intimidate someone with words and harassment, its another thing to break the law. Two wrongs don't make a right, here. I see the verdict here for you as "You, being the guilty party, owe the plaintiff the amount to fix damages to his/her vehicle" and there might be something in there about $50 paid back.
It also sounds like its not a bogus gift gift card, just a depleted gift card, and as said above, we have no idea yet if the buyer had prior knowledge of the amount remaining on the gift card. So, counterfeiting is pretty much right out up until the point where you find them handing them out left and right.

I'm by no means defending this person, but without a full story from them, or a complete lack of communication, flying off the handle as you want to do here seems a bit premature. Its been, what, 4 days, and they said they were going out of town on vacation.

Look, I'm not defending these girls or anything. For all I know they are theiving little bitches that need to be tracked down to get money back from them. My point is, if I gave someone a gift card that had no balance, but I thought it did, or I accidentally bounced a check, or I paid in fake money and didn't know it (Have received fake money from a CL buy before, really sucked being out on about $400 and having fake money to show for it), and some fuck nut flies off the handle and fucks with my truck i would lose my damn mind. Especially if I had legitemitely thought I had paid, thats when I get pissed and come find whoever the fuck did it. Shit happens, accidents occur, but fucking with someones property is what gets you in trouble. Like the idiots talking about fucking up that TrexTRD douches truck. Did he deserve it? Probably. Should it be done? No.
