I have neoprene chest waders, and they're hot as hell. I can't imagine what neoprene covers are like in a hot truck. You'd probably end up with a severe case of monkey butt.

... and my ballistic MOLLE covers have been delivered to WI. My buds should be back with them on Tuesday. Can't wait!

Thanks! I was worried when I first tried to install them that they wouldn't fit great but once I removed the seats and installed them in my living room they fit awesomely. It was a lot easier to manipulate them and pull everything where it needed to be. Anybody who's worried about pulling their seats, don't fret, its super easy. For the front its four bolts and three wiring harnesses and for the rear its just the four bolts where they fold.

I ordered mine on the Thursday, Nov. 26 (Black Friday Sale) at 25% off. They were ready to ship on the December 16th. Received in WI December 21. They had over 1500 orders in the 2 days (Thursday - 25% / Black Friday -15%).

    I'll remember that. Thanks!

I usually take the front seats out when I know that I'm going to be a while under the dash. (e.g. Pro EFX mirrors, and coming up will be an RTMR panel with iggy 6 Carlisle switch panel and associated LED light bars).

I had ordered Caltrend Neoprene seat covers about 3 weeks ago from auto anything. I paid $323 shipped to my door. They were made and shipped very quickly, but then Fedex decided to cause problems. They arived WAY after they were supposed to....

Anyway at work today I installed the dront seats. Over the coase of 5 hrs I probably spent 45 mins working on them. I removed the seats as it makes it so much easier. You could do it in the truck but I would struggle getting the straps as tight.

Come spring I wull remove the covers and take them to a embroidery place and have a TRD logo stiched in red. Ill wait toll spring as I will also be installing seat heaters, and I hate doing wiring jobs in the drive way when it is cold out.

Are these as nice as Wet Okoles? Not sure, but there is no way those are worth double the price of these. I am very happy with the easy install, and how tight the fronts are. Hopefully the backs will be just as good when I do them tonight or tomarrow.

I could use some helping choosing a good seat cover. I have a nasty habit of dropping lit cigarets on my seats. I just bought my new Tacoma on the 23rd and would like to keep the seats free of burn holes. I'm looking for something tough and something that could pass as stock; any recommendations on a good cover?

These are really nice, but I'd trash them in less than a year. So would my dogs.

The tractor seat goes against the "stock looking seats"... otherwise a great idea. :D

OK.... got my CoverKing Ballistic Tactical seat covers yesterday.

I installed the rear lowers, went on nice and tight.

Started on the rear uppers, but couldn't get the 60% side to fit on properly. I need to:

    1) Take out the rear seat backs so I can work on them properly (anyone know how?)

    2) Take out the little head rest guides so I can line them up with the holes and press them back in for a clean fit (anyone know how?)

    HELP !!

... and the rear headrest covers don't fit, not even close! They are too small, wrong dimensions, and don't accommodate the fold down lever.

I am not looking forward to doing the fronts.

Did your rear seat headrest covers fit? Mine don't.

And how the f*ck did you manage to get the rear seat backs on? I need to take out my seats to do it.

    _______________________________________________________________

    Edit:

I figured it out. I took the seat backs off of the hinges and brought them in the house. It was a lot easier to install the covers. You guys are right, they are tighter than a frogs butt. I tucked in the holes around the headrest grommets. I'll restretch the covers come summer when it's warm.

Now on to the fronts. I'm going to see if I can do them in the truck first, but if not, in the house they come! Besides, it's 33*F outside.

    What a cluster f*ck!

The fronts are simple to do in the truck.

Gorgeous, and the exact color scheme that I have in my '15! I have had WOs in past Jeeps. Three dogs, two kids, and they have always held up tough to abuse - I have never had a tear, and they're great to clean. They're a 'first purchase' for me on any new truck / SUV nowadays - don't know what I did before 'em!
